Q: How long does it take for a design to be completed?

A: The time line of a project is generally controlled by the client. If you have a release date in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a web site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client, and for pages to be approved.

Q: How much will it cost to have my site done?

A: The cost of a web site varies, depending upon the type of web site you require. A basic site start at approx $700, a simple eCom site $1800, a complex eCom site/dynamic site $2000+. Developing a custom CMS system will also effect the cost. Obviously each site has to be treated on it's unique requirements, but these amounts should give you an idea of a ballpark figure.

We require a 25% deposit for all standard sites and 50% for larger database driven projects. The balance of payment is then due on completion of the project.

Q: What do I get for that cost?

A: Our designs are created and conceived from your requirements. Typically we don't use ready made templates, all our sites are designed from scratch. However, to keep costs down, we can do so. But you need to keep in mind that a templated site doesn't help seperate your business from the pack. As well, a template may be as difficult to bend to your requirements as developing a site from scratch. We always suggest that specific custom made sites are utilized. So if you want a green website with pink spots, you can have one!(Not that our color expert would suggest that...)

Granted, you may find a cheaper offer out there, and no doubt a lot more expensive packages, however we always aim to give all of our clients 'value for money' websites, because ROI is very important to us. Therefore you need to be able to compare apples to apples. Below comes standard with our designs:
  • Custom web site design
  • Two free mockups
  • W3C compliant coding
  • Optimized graphics
  • Cross browser compatibility
  • Great prices
  • A range of solutions
  • Free support and advice, see below
Q: What after-sales support do you offer?

A: After the completion of a web site project we are available for after sales service. Any slight tweaks or amendments are carried out to the web site free of charge for the first month. Any support after that will be charged at an hourly rate of $25.

Q: Is there any training provided with the Content Management System?

A: The Content Management Systems really are very easy to use and do have explanatory notes included where necessary. We run through the administration screens with you when we design the web site for you – however if at any time you have any questions we are available to run through the procedures or answer any questions you may have. Please refer to our above after-sales support.

A: If you are local to us, we accept $$ or check. If it is by check, the check will be required to clear before we hand over passwords to the web site. If you are abroad, we accept check or Paypal. Once again, checks will need to be cleared before the web site finally changes possession. Your ENTIRE invoice will need to be paid in full before the web site enters into your possession.

A: It is helpful to us if you are able to provide text and photographs in electronic form - for example, the files output by a digital camera and the content in Word or similar format. A: There are various methods available to you.
